Search Bandon Oregon
Located near the junction of Highway 101 and Riverside Drive in Bandon, these 712 acres of salt marsh at the mouth of the Coquille River are extremely important to shorebirds and wintering waterfowl.

Shorebirds, waterfowl, gulls, eagles, and falcons can easily be viewed from the observation area located on Riverside Drive. The viewing area has undergone recent improvements and now includes an elevated viewing platform, small parking area, and stairs leading out to the mudflats.

The marsh and observation deck are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Hunting is allowed in the refuge west of Highway 101 and north of Bandon city limits. Hunters must comply with all state and federal regulations. Additional visitor opportunities include photography, clamming, and fishing. Due to the sensitivity of wildlife, pets are not allowed on refuge lands.
